I am drenched in an ocean of emotions as I pen this
excerpt. I don’t know from where to start this emotional voyage and where to
culminate it. I feel endowed with an inexorable flow of emotions and yet seem
lacking in my presentation. Undoubtedly, no wordy or worldly expressions can
outline the inherent aesthetics of this voyage. This journey is too beautiful
to confine itself into mere words. It is a journey of relentless efforts,
interminable love, adhering togetherness and unremitting faith. My heartiest
regards and wishes to you- Mom and Dad on completing twenty five years of
bonded togetherness. May the Almighty shower all His benign blessings upon you
both and impart you with His choicest gifts of life.
To go through life individually is too simple but
to grow through life with impeccable mutual trust and steadfast togetherness is
a herculean task. It fills me with immense gratitude and adulation for you -Mom
and Dad for always having shown me the true essence of Love and Sacrifice. In
the shade of your Love and Goodness I have always learnt to see life profoundly
and purposefully. Everyday has been a day of Love and Hope in these years. I am
fortunate and eternally grateful to that Almighty for having born as your son.
Oftentimes, when I find myself questioning the very
existence of true love and relationships in this world; the truthfulness and
sanctity of your bond exemplifies its existence and testifies its veracity. Mom
and Dad, you are a beaconing light of love and inspiration for me. In every realm
of life, I have witnessed the very best of your love and efforts. Unlike both
of you, not everyone in this world can love, respect and live for each other
without having even an iota of selfishness. In every ordeal of life you have
stood together firmly and faced it with boundless optimism and good hope.
‘Understanding’ is the art of mind and ‘Loving’ is the art of heart. In this
fabricated world, to find an amalgam of both in any relation is a rarity. I
feel blessed to have witnessed a relation like yours which is devoid of any
mendacity.
In life, as we grow, most of us accumulate ego and
arrogance as a by-product. It takes tremendous tenacity and resilience to grow
through wisdom and not by ego. To remain modest is the essential fabric of true
love and faithful relation. Mom and Dad, your humility accentuates your wisdom
and is a testimony of your selfless sacrifice.
I am indebted to you for having unfolded these
fundamental tenets of life unto me with unending adoration and modesty.
Everything that I do and will do in my life is because of your blessings and
love. As the burning candle illuminates a dark room, may your love illuminate
forever and guide me in every walk of life. May that Almighty keep you both
blessed, happy and in the best of your spirits. Love You !
