A Conversation !

Some conversations are fortunate and some, everlasting ! Just happened to skim over some of my old notes and found this excerpt from a conversation that I, fortunately, happen to strike with a tea vendor in sector 36 D , Chandigarh ! Very few know the art to personify what they speak; and he did it with absolute perfection !

" I have seen the 'richness' of the 'poor' and the 'poverty' of the 'rich' ! I have known the 'conceit' of the 'ignorant' and the 'humility' of the 'aware' ! I have felt the 'honesty' of the 'innocent' and the 'deceit' of the 'covert' ! I have known the 'hollowness' of the 'pompous' and the 'depth' of the 'modest' ! I have known the 'silence' of the 'garrulous' and the 'noise' of the 'silent' ! I have seen the 'living dead' and the 'dead living forever' ! I have seen... brother ! "
